Lab Infrastructure (B.Tech.Bio-Tech)

Ours is a well-furnished, well-equipped department, which permits the students to work in the laboratory and use the facilities at any time of the day. The school is maintaining a Cyanobacterial Glue Bank, which is made available to other teaching and research institutions. The well established plant tissue culture facility and the modern cell line facilities are being used by the students for their project work. To acquire additional training in the field of Biotechnology, students are placed in research institutions and organisations during summer. The school also provides assistance to students in preparing for CSIR, UGC and other competitive examinations. Activities such as Mushroom cultivation, Biofertilizer Production, Plant Tissue Culture, Medical Plants, Vermiculture are some of the extension programmes of employment for students even after graduation.
