Programmable Logic Controller Laboratory – Supported by Armada Industrial Automation Pvt Ltd., Thanjavur.
The laboratory is well equipped with various types of Programmable-Logic Controllers(PLCs) and interfacing modules to demonstrate the detailed applications of PLC and SCADA. The purpose of this laboratory is to train the students to be familiar with the software and hardware of PLC using ladder logic codes so that they can gain enough experiences to meet the industrial demand of this automation era. The PLC Laboratory provides an opportunity for students to learn about methods to measure and analyse control variables in manufacturing and mechanical processes. The lab emphasizes on the practical skills to design and realize automation process.
