Dr. C. Rajasekaran has 23 years of teaching experience. Currently, he is the Head of the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. A graduate in Electrical engineering, he received his Doctoral degree from Anna University, Chennai in 2015. His teaching methodology synchronizes theoretical principles with practical applications, covering microcontrollers, real-time computing, and embedded software development comprehensively which invites students to work with him.
His research areas include Embedded Systems, IoT, Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning applied to imaging and agricultural domain. He has filed 3 patents in his research areas and has got 1 granted. He has completed the AICTE funded project in Precision Agriculture as a principal Investigator. He is the co-investigator of the healthcare projects in AI & ML domains funded by DBT and SERB, India. He has organised a number of conferences, workshops and seminars including funded programs. His total funding is to the tune of 80 lakhs.
His publications are in peer reviewed Journals like Elsevier, Springer, and IET. He presents his research regularly in IEEE conferences which include TENCON 2018 held in Malaysia, EMBC’19 in Germany, TENCON 2022 in Hongkong and TENCON 2023 in Thailand. He has also visited Malaysia twice for presenting papers. He has chaired session and received the ‘Best paper Award’ in ICFSP in France in 2018. He is a senior member of IEEE and is the student branch counsellor since 2010. He has 3 Ph.D. research scholars under him, currently pursuing in Anna University, Chennai.
Specializing in Embedded Systems, he is the founder of Mindnics Private Limited, a startup for Customized Electronic product development.
