HoD Biographical Notes
Dr. P. Kumar has more than 20 years of teaching experience. He is working as a Professor and head of the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology, Tiruchengode. He is graduated in the discipline of Electronics and Communication Engineering from Government College of Engineering, Salem in 1998. He completed his post graduation in Advanced Communication Systems in SASTRA University in 2003. He received his Ph.D. from Anna University Chennai in 2012. His research interests include wireless communication with the emphasis on adaptive protocols for packet radio networks, and mobile wireless communication systems and networks.
He has to his credit a number of papers published in peer reviewed International Journals like Elsevier, Springer etc. He has also presented papers in a number of International & National Conferences and wrote book chapters. He has organised a number of conferences, workshops and seminars. A few of them are funded by Government organizations. He is the recognized research supervisor under Anna University Chennai. He has successfully guided five Ph.D research scholars and eight are pursuing currently
