Steam & IC Engineering Lab
Steam lab has equipped with Thermax boiler (Diesel fired water tube), 1kW generator, coupled with impulse turbine.
I.C Engines lab equipped with two-stroke single cylinder petrol engine, four stroke single cylinder slow and high-speed diesel engine equipped with electronically controlled hot and cold EGR system and high-speed data acquisition system, four stroke four-cylinder high speed petrol engine. Engines are loaded with mechanical, eddy current, electrical resistive and hydraulic dynamometer. The engine exhaust emission measured with a help of AVL Di-gas analyzer and AVL standard smoke meter.
